I am a Financial Advisor at Wingerd Financial Group, where I specialize in comprehensive financial planning, including investment planning, retirement planning, insurance planning, tax planning, and estate planning. With over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, my career has been shaped by my time at American Express from 1999 to 2005 and Royal Alliance/Osiac from 2005 to 2025. These experiences have equipped me with a wealth of knowledge to guide my clients effectively.

Before embarking on my professional journey, I attended the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. My passion for economics and finance, coupled with a genuine desire to help and educate people, naturally led me to the role of a financial advisor. I find immense satisfaction in assisting clients to achieve their goals and witnessing them live out their dreams. The most rewarding aspect of my job is the relationships I build with my clients. Every day, I have the privilege of working with individuals who have entrusted us with their life savings. Through these interactions, I've met so many incredible people and learned about their families and life stories. I feel truly blessed to have this extended family, for which I am incredibly thankful. I believe the greatest values I offer my clients are my heart and my ability to listen.

Originally from Oconomowoc, WI, I now reside in Stillwater, MN, with my wife, Stacy, our two children, Mackenzie and Hunter, and our Bernadoodle, Balto. Outside of the office, I am actively involved in various organizations. For the past 13 years, I've helped lead a mission group to Anchovy, a small town outside of Montego Bay, Jamaica. Each year, our group is invited back to Garland Hall, a children's home, where we focus on rebuilding and remodeling the facility. However, I believe the most important aspect of our visits is the time spent with the children. Sharing this experience with my daughter as my roommate on these trips has been a blessing, strengthening our father-daughter bond.

On a personal note, I was fortunate to coach my son in baseball for five years. However, this year, I realized it was time to step back and let more experienced coaches take the lead. It was a double whammy for me, as my daughter also ended her volleyball career this year. Suddenly, my wife and I found ourselves with a lot of free time, as we no longer had baseball practices or games to coach, nor volleyball matches or tournaments to attend. While it's bittersweet, as we loved watching our children succeed, we've embraced this new chapter and are excited to have the time to travel, both domestically and internationally.
